WHAT:
Join us to celebrate the opening of a new community destination for children and families. Located adjacent to South Miami City Hall, this new amenity is part of The Underline's 7+ mile long phase from SW 19th Avenue to Dadeland South. The Play Forest will spark imagination and adventure, inviting children and families to connect with nature and one another through healthy, active play.

WHY:
The Nikki Spoelstra Play Forest is the first designated Underline playground amenity area in South Miami.
Getting there:
•Metro: Take the Metrorail to the South Miami Metrorail Station, exit south to South Miami City Hall
•Walk or bike: •Take the Metrorail to the South Miami Metrorail Station, exit south to South Miami City Hall
•If you drive, we strongly encourage the use of the South Miami Metrorail Station Parking Garage and walk to City Hall.

•••💡 COME PREPARED: The event takes place outdoors. Wear cool clothing and a hat. Be extra prepared with a refillable water bottle and sunscreen.
•••🌧 Rain Policy: If a considerable amount of rain and/or lightning is forecast, we will postpone or cancel the event 2 hours before event start time by email . Or if there is inclement weather during the event, there will be both in person and email cancellation notifications.
