Night hikes are pretty common for stargazing, but what if it’s a cloudy night? Don’t worry — there’s plenty to do in any kind of weather — as long as it’s dark! Let’s explore and use our night senses as the world around us awakens for night life. Who might we hear rustling nearby and calling out in the eerie silent night in the distance? Do you have night vision, what color is that, and why do pirates wear eye patches?
Registration is required, and is limited to 25 participants. Free for Dahlem members, small fee for non-members. Recommended for ages 12 years and up.
Please dress for the weather, bring a small flashlight to carry in your pocket, and be ready to walk a couple miles.
In the event of a rainy day, tickets will be applied to a rescheduled date.
