Nik Parr’s original music is a high-energy piano-driven rock n’ roll endeavor with strong soul, funk and blues influences. Parr’s band is built around his piano playing and singing, with an ear for catchy, danceable and widely appealing new songs. The show is made even more unique as Nik switches seamlessly from the saxophone to the piano in between singing, working the crowd and directing his band - and he even plays the two instruments at the same time.
Nik Parr and his band, The Selfless Lovers, have toured the country for five years playing over 150 show dates annually. The band has released two full length albums “The Selfless Lovers” and “When The Bars Close” and will be releasing their highly anticipated “Promised Land” in 2023.
Aaron Stephens opens the show! Born in Chicago and raised in McAllen, Texas, Aaron Stephens is as soulful as they come. His songwriting, guitar playing, and singing are strongly influenced by artists like Ben Harper, BB King, Al Green, and Bill Withers. Stephens has shown he’s not afraid to bring his soulfulness with him to other musical landscapes, and with that, move between genres effortlessly. From iconic Texas venues like Antone's and Gruene Hall to music festivals, like Austin City Limits, Stephens' music has taken him to the stage.
