This half-day workshop provides a practical overview of commercial research delivery at Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) within the NIHR portfolio.

The session will explore how commercial studies are set up and delivered in practice, alongside local strategy, national requirements, and operational challenges, drawing on expertise from across CUH research teams.

What will be covered?

The agenda reflects the end-to-end delivery of commercial research at CUH, including:

• The commercial research landscape at CUH and current strategic priorities
• Cost recovery and financial processes in commercial studies
• Research governance, national metrics, and performance expectations
• Overview of the NCVR process and practical tips for study set-up
• Updates on Clinical Trials Regulations and their impact on delivery
