This preliminary level introduces basic survival Japanese, grammar, and hiragana & katakana writing and reading. Topics include, but are not limited to, meeting people, shopping, and dining.Each level has 3 parts (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) which should be taken sequentially before you can move on to the next level.
Days: Sundays, 8-week, 60-minute sessions
Times:
Level I: 10:15am-11:15pm (In-person) or 1:00pm– 2:00pm (Virtual)
Two Level I classes to choose from. Students must only choose 1 class option.
Level II: 2:10pm–3:10pm (virtual)
Sessions:
Part 1: October 3, 10, 17, 24, November 7, 14, December 5, 12
Part 2: January 2, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13, 20, 27
Part 3: March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 10, 24, May 1, 15
