Learn how to make a niho ʻoki!
Niho ʻoki are Hawaiian shark tooth utility knives, traditionally used for food preparation, wood carving, hair cutting, stripping bark for kapa, and in self-defense by makaʻāinana. ‘Ōlohe Umi Kai will lead participants in creating niho ʻoki in this Living Culture workshop on April 27. No prior experience is necessary.

Registration fee: $50*
