Nightmares & the Shadow: A Dreamwork Circle with Sarah Manuwal
Lecture Room Workshop!
A very special Halloween edition of a dreamwork circle exploring the mysteries of nightmares!
Please join Sarah Manuwal, M.A., AMFT, and the Philosophical Research Society for a very special Halloween edition of her dreamwork circle. In this exploration of dream interpretation, we will delve into the mysteries of nightmares and the connection to our shadow aspects. Dreams have fascinated humans for centuries, and in this workshop, we will focus on ways in which they open a window into the deeper workings of our psyche. Together, we will learn to interpret the symbols and images that appear in our dreams, develop a relationship with their messages, and explore how they reflect what may be happening within our unconscious.
Drawing on the rich history of dream analysis, dating back to the Ancient Greek temples of Asclepius, John Dee, and modern-day Dream Tending, we will learn the rich and fascinating history of dream interpretation. We will explore the various ways to understand and interpret our own dreams at the end of the lecture. This educational workshop offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of yourself and the world around you and to connect with others on this shared journey of discovery. The workshop will begin with a lecture, and conclude with a discussion on how to continue practicing dream work individually or with a group.
We invite you to join us in exploring the unconscious through the power of dream work. Whether you are a seasoned dreamer or new to the practice, we invite you to join us as we walk in the land of dreaming!
