Class Time: Saturdays, 9:45–10:45 a.m.
Class Dates: 8/22, 8/29, 9/5, 9/12, 9/19, 9/26
Rehearsals @ ON St. Elmo: Saturdays, 10/3 (3–5 pm) and 10/18 (4–6pm)
Dress Rehearsal @ ON: Monday, 10/19 (6–9:30 pm)
Performance Day @ ON: Saturday, 10/24: Dry Run: 1:00 – 2:15pm, Performance: 7:30pm–9pm
Get ready for a hauntingly fun aerial dance experience! In this 10-week series, you’ll create your very own Halloween-themed performance piece—whether spooky, mysterious, playful, or dramatic—and perform it live at ON St. Elmo for a real audience, mixed with friends, family, and community.
You’ll spend 6 weeks preparing your routine and 3 additional sessions in the performance space, followed by the showcase on Saturday, 10/24.
What to expect:
-Choose your apparatus: hammock or lyra
-Build your own choreography with guidance and support from your instructor
- Learn shapes and transitions
-Connect sequences with fluidity
-Explore creative ways to enter and exit the apparatus
-Develop movement on the ground between aerial segments
-Learn how to work with music to tell your story
- Gain performance confidence in a real show setting
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced aerialist, your instructor will offer support, options, and inspiration every step of the way.
Prerequisites: Aerial Arts 4 Week Series for hammock & Lyra Foundations for lyra + regular attendance to our weekly aerial arts/lyra classes
