About this Event
Nightingale Wurrgumang: Information Session 1
Session 1: 6:15-7:30pm.
Introducing Nightingale Wurrgumang: our first-ever collection of sustainable terrace homes, grounded amongst a lush and biodiverse landscape in Coburg North.
In consultation with Wurundjeri Elders, the project has been given a Woi Wurrung name meaning 'homes in the forest'.
You may have seen this project a while back, when were gathering interest at early stages. Now, we are ready to ballot the homes. There will be a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes - all with north facing living spaces and lush landscaping. The project is designed by Breathe with landscape by MDGLA.
The homes will have a mixture of front and back yards, with shared spaces including guesthouse, bath house, and mobility hubs.
This information session will be the first of two presentations. At this session, we will introduce ourselves, the site, the project team, price brackets, typical floor plans and key dates. The evening’s session will conclude with a Q&A.
This session is an in-person event held at Balam Balam place in Brunswick, but you are also welcome to Zoom in.
The subsequent information session will provide more detailed information about the floor plans, pricing, the ballot process and deposit requirements. Following the second session, the ballot will open and an extensive resident information package will be available on our website.
Balam Balam Place, where the information session is being held, is wheelchair accessible. We have booked an Auslan interpreter from 6:15-7:40pm, if you have other accessibility requirements, please email [email protected] when you buy a ticket with your requests.
We will be located in room 401 in the taller building on site, the best entry is off Saxon Street. There is bike parking on and around Phoenix Street. The closest train station is Brunswick Station. The closest tram stop is Glenlyon/Dawson Road on Sydney Road.
If you require car parking, there is carparking opposite the Brunswick Baths and near Woolworths.
