INDIE ROCK / WESTERN MASS POST-DADCORE
Hailing from Western Massachusetts, nightanimal makes layered, atmospheric, indie rock built on tension, texture and a big open room of sound. The band jokingly calls their brand of music post-dadcore.
The band came together after meeting at a local semi-imaginary music festival and bonded over a shared approach to songwriting, collaboration and a belief that the best songs become something greater than the sum of their parts.
The name nightanimal was inspired by the many nocturnal woodland creatures that wander past their rehearsal space. A fitting namesake for music that feels equally at home in the stillness and the swell.
For fans of Pavement, The National and Frightened Rabbit.
