Night School: Where Scholarship Meets Cultural Life

Class Topic: What’s connecting us, and what’s dividing us?

You’re already inside the system, you just can’t see it.

This isn’t a lecture. It’s a live, immersive exploration of the hidden networks shaping how we think, connect, and understand the world.

At Night School, Dr. Anthony Bonato, A mathematician, professor, and leading network science expert offers something rare: a way of seeing the invisible systems that govern our lives. From neurons to social media, networks determine what spreads, what sticks, and what separates us.

Once you see the patterns, you start noticing them everywhere.

What is Night School?
A live lecture series for people who want more from their nights.
Ideas out of the classroom and into the room; Experienced, not performed. Each evening begins with a research-driven talk and opens into live dialogue in a setting that’s social, thoughtful, and alive.

Come for the ideas. Stay for the conversation.

Why Attend
Because you’re done with surface-level nights.
Conversations that go somewhere
Ideas that actually stay with you
A room that listens, questions, and pushes back
A social experience with substance

You don’t just attend. You participate.

What You’ll Learn
See the hidden networks shaping your world
Understand what drives connection and division
Recognize patterns behind how information spreads
Think differently about influence, systems, and behavior
Notice what was always there, but invisible.
