Night Out For Safety & Liberation (RYSE)

On Tuesday August 6th, join the RYSE Center in reclaiming safety and looking beyond fear, punishment, policing, and incarceration. This is a community multigenerational event that we’ve hosted for the last 7 years. This will be the second open community NOSL since the pandemic.

Night Out for Safety and Liberation is the night when people across the country come together to reimagine what #SafetyIs: dignity, opportunity and freedom for our communities. As the country begins to re-opening from the pandemic, we have planned, socially distanced events where our communities can unite and heal each other from the harm too many of us experience at the hands of law enforcement.
