Bill was born in McKeesport PA, one of 5 kids. He was trained on the job starting
his professional career soon after high school working as a perfusionist operating circulatory support equipment in open heart, ECMO, and transplant
surgery. That promising career was cut short by a motorcycle accident in 1985
that paralyzed his right arm. Hitting a bridge girder with his shoulder literally
changed the direction of his life. Post-accident, while being a stay-at-home Dad, Bill started college getting his associate and bachelor’s degree in business and marketing. Bill
furthered his education getting his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College in 2012. He is also certified in DISC personality profiling and The Pacific Institute life
coaching curriculum.
His return to the workplace saw him work at a Christian television station as a producer, and travel host for many international ministry guests. That time became some of his ‘traveling school of
ministry’ where he was able to spend extensive time with those in ministry. That time helped his emotional healing from some of the complex trauma he suffered as a child and from the accident.
Bill eventually started working at a faith-based rescue mission working with homeless men helping them transition through brokenness, hopelessness, and shattered dreams. His one-on-one
interaction with the clients and staff saw him move in his God given encouraging and teaching gifts. In 2013 Bill experienced some long-term health issues that prompted a disability retirement.
Bill has been involved in various forms of ministry since high school. He has been on multiple foreign mission trips seeing God move in amazing ways here and abroad. His love of archery didn’t stop after the accident but has continued with him pulling the bow back with his teeth sharing in ministry messages on What are You Aiming For, Being Equipped for Your Purpose, and Dealing with Trauma and Transition. He shares life changing and challenging messages. With his wide range of experiences and prophetic insight, he has a keen ability to share practical applications of stories of
significance through Scripture. His quick-witted humor makes him a compelling communicator, often helping people realize it’s pretty much only babies with a wet diaper who like change. Bill is
married to his high school sweetheart, Marcia, for 43 years. Marcia is a pastor at LWFWC, accomplished worship leader, and founder of Voice of the Bride Ministry. They have three adult children married to three wonderful spouses. Their three grandchildren will have a new cousin this November. They all bring great joy, laughter, and excitement to their lives.
