Night of Light

W e are excited to welcome you back to our beloved semiannual Night of Light, featuring distinguished guest reciters Shaikh Hasan Abunar, Sheikh Ahmad Elzaree, Shaikh Abdellah Marhoum, Sheikh Soufiane Taydi, and Ustadh Hamza Ibn Mohammed. Parking at GMU is by parking permit or garage-ticketed parking only. Please check https://transportation.gmu.edu/parking/#Visitors for all options! We recommend arriving at GMU 30 minutes early to account for parking/walking time.

Walking Directions from Mason Pond Parking Deck:

1. Exit Mason Pond Parking Deck and walk towards the George Mason statue.
2. Look for signs for the Johnson Center on your right and enter the Johnson Center. There is an entrance to the right of the George Mason statue.
3. Walk past the restaurants (past Chipotle) until you reach the far back stair case and go to the ground floor, where you will find Dewberry Hall. There are also elevators behind Chipotle as well as on the other side. Once you exit the elevators, follow signs to Night of Light!
