Spend the night at the nature center! Join us for winter nature activities like fire starting, shelter building, and more outside at the Swiss Valley Nature Preserve. Hoping for snow so we can use the xc skis or snowshoes! At the end of the day, warm up with some hot cocoa and a night at the nature center. This overnight camp is for children ages 8-11.What to expect:
- Drop off from 4pm-5pm on Thursday, January 2nd.
- Camp activities from 4pm-10pm.
- Dinner provided by DCCB (kids will help make it for everyone!)
- Camp overnight in the nature center
- Breakfast provided by DCCB (kids will help make it for everyone!)
- Camp activities in morning
- Pick up from 9am-10am on Friday, January 3rd
What to bring:
- Warm winter clothes (winter coat, snow pants, boots, hat, gloves, scarf, more layers)
- Headlamp or flashlight
- Sleeping bag, pillow, pajamas, other nighttime necessities
- Extra clothes (especially socks, gloves, pants, sweatshirt, etc)
Registration closes on Thursday, December 26th, or when registration is full.
