DE NIEUWE-DIERENTUIN / NEW AMSTERDAM ZOO

Natura Magistra Artis! Kunst is de leermeester van de natuur deze zomer. De hele zomervakantie in PEXPO: de Nieuwe-Dierentuin van Amsterdam. Deze eerste dierentuin van Noord is een voortdurend veranderende expositie van tientallen fantasiedieren van de hand van tientallen kunstenaars.

Basis voor de expositie is het grafische en keramische werk van het Noord-Amsterdamse atelier Bijzonder Amsterdams, aangevuld met werk van onder meer Anneke Hoogervorst, Kathy Murillo en Dominique Zwartele. Daarnaast is er werk van nog onbekende kunstenaars uit de omgeving van Pexpo, want iedereen is uitgenodigd om eigen fantasiedieren toe te voegen aan de expositie. In de tuin van PEXPO kun je aan werktafels aan eigen dieren werken, of je vult een van de tientallen vogelhuisjes met je creatie.

Ervaar de kracht van verbondenheid door samen te werken aan het creëren van dieren van diverse materialen zoals klei of hout. Samen brengen jullie unieke kunstwerken tot leven, waarbij ieders ideeën en talenten samensmelten tot prachtige creaties. ? Kom en bewonder De Nieuwe-Dierentuin van Amsterdam. Natura Magistra Artis! This summer, art takes on the role of nature's teacher at PEXPO: the enchanting New Amsterdam Zoo. As the first zoo of the North, it unfolds as a dynamic exhibition featuring a delightful array of fantastical creatures crafted by a multitude of talented artists.

At the heart of this captivating display lies the graphic and ceramic creations from the renowned Noord-Amsterdam studio, Bijzonder Amsterdams, complemented by the extraordinary works of artists such as Anneke Hoogervorst, Kathy Murillo, and Dominique Zwartele. Within the garden of PEXPO, you will find worktables where you can dive into the creative process, shaping your own unique animals or filling one of the many birdhouses with your artistic vision.
