Join us to meet Indian-American author/poet Nidhi Thakur. She is bilingual and writes in English as well as in Hindi. She will read from her current collection of short stories titled, "When she married Dr. Patekar and other stories". Her previous works have been published in anthologies and her spoken poetry has been featured in various venues. Dr. Thakur currently teaches Economics and writes and lives in Short Hills, NJ with her husband and two daughters.
The author will read parts of the book, including the Hindi couplets that have appeared in the book, and their translations in English. There will be a discussion and time for a Q&A with the attending public.
