I am so happy to be able to have this opportunity to resurrect Nickel City Sessions - my songwriter's in the round series that I hosted for a couple years prior to the pandemic. The first of these third Wednesday of the month shows takes place on January 15th, with a stellar lineup of young, local artists who have made a name for themselves in the Buffalo music community.
Joining me for this inaugural NCS "redux" show will be Tyler Bagwell (https://tylerbagwell.bandcamp.com/album/the-smugglers-of-buffalo), Sara Elizabeth (http://www.saraelizabethmusic.com/), and Chelsea O'Donnell (https://stressdollsmusic.com/home)
Among the exciting aspects of starting this series once again, has been partnering with FeedMore WNY in an effort to not only offer attendees a money saving incentive, but in doing so, to help a local charity in the process. While admission is set at $15, any attendee bringing a non-perishable food item donation will receive $5 off the their admission charge!
I am looking forward to rebuilding this series, and hopefully growing a community of local and touring singer-songwriters, as well as audience for these artists.
