Join medicine singer and ceremony leader Nick Barbachano (UK) and Friends for a beautiful ceremonial concert Live @De Duif in Amsterdam.We feel honoured and excited!
It will be the first time that Nick will play with his band in Amsterdam and he is looking forward to share his medicine music and prayers with us. In Amsterdam he will be joined by his musical brothers Misha Mullov-Abbado on bass and Rueben Darling Khan.
Ticket sales will start on Winter Solstice, Friday 22 December 2023 at 10:00 in the morning. 50 Early Bird tickets available until 31 Dec 2023!
About Nick Barbachano
Nick Barbachano is an independent musician who makes music inspired by plant medicine and his work with prayer circles around the world. His music comes from the heart and his intention to explore the mystic nature of the human condition. It reflects his journey from cerebral philosophic contemplation to the rediscovery of prayer. His simple songs and poetic lyrics are a call for gratitude and celebration for all we have.
Having spent years travelling the world sharing music in singing and prayer rituals, Nick Barbachano has dedicated much of his life to building community through ritual, music, prayer, togetherness and celebration.
His second album “Familia” takes you on a ceremonial journey and features music from Mao Tatanka, Danit Treubig, Matthew Barley, Misha Mullov-Abbado,Yashi Nahuel, and Jonas Winter. The beautiful, original album artwork was created by another member of their family,
Nick is also together with Danit part of the band Puentes, a collective of friends who come together to pray, celebrate and play music around the altar of life. In 2021 they recorded Amerikua. Many of you might know their powerful and healing songs from (plant) ceremonies. Their prayer songs serve as a bridge directly to your heart.
His songs are pure medicine for our soul, guiding us back home. Home to ourselves in harmony with nature and all living beings. Especially in these turbulent times it is so important to stay in the heart and connected. Come, bring your friends and join us!
