Join us in cheering on Japanese super star Shohei Otani of the Los Angeles Angels, as well as our very own Japanese newcomer, former Hanshin Tigers pitcher Shintaro Fujinami of the Oakland Athletics, at our annual Nichi Bei Day with the A’s on Sunday, April 2nd at 1:00 pm at the Oakland Coliseum!Civil rights attorney Donald K. Tamaki, part of the legal team that helped to overturn Fred Korematsu's wartime conviction 40 years ago and a member of California's Black reparations task force, will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch.
Tickets are $45 for sections 108R, 109R and 110R and include FREE Fujinami T-shirts for everyone who purchases tickets through the Nichi Bei Foundation (while supplies last).
There will also be a FREE raffle during the game!
Proceeds will benefit the Nichi Bei Foundation, publishers of the Nichi Bei News Japanese American community newspaper, to help fulfill our mission of keeping the community connected, informed and empowered.
