Join us for a free screening of Nice!Gordon to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the film’s release.2004 marked the release of the film project, "Nice!Gordon", featuring Alaskan skaters and snowboarders with a focus on the Boarderline team. This was the last of 8 film projects with Boarderline as the title sponsor. Boarderline closed its doors shortly after, marking the end of an era in Alaska snowboard and skateboard history.
Nice!Gordon was from a time before phones ruled our delivery of information and video clips, when the full length film still ruled the land. From humble beginnings, on a projector screen at the end of the Dimond Center hallway to filling the 4th Ave theatre and Wendy Williamson theatre for multiple showings, this movie displayed the growth a community can have when it rallies around a project.
We hope you will join us for a look back on the golden age of Alaska video making and some unreal skating and snowboarding from certified Alaskan legends in the boarding world.
