Niall McCabe is a folk singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist from Clare Island off the coast of Mayo. With a critically acclaimed debut solo album on heavy rotation on Irish radio, McCabe’s natural, distinct voice is earning a growing and loyal fanbase on both sides of the Atlantic. His evocative folk music is rooted in story and place, returning always to the melodic and lyrical texture of the remote island where he grew up. When virtuoso Irish playing jumps the pond running naked through the wide open field of bluegrass/Americana JigJam is born.
