Niaflix: A Special Screening of 'Feedback' & Live Score Performance

In collaboration with SITE Toronto, Nia Centre for the Arts presents the North American premiere of Feedback, an audio-visual experiences paired with a live score performance and artist talk with the creator, visual and sound artist Olukemi Lijadu.

Niaflix is rooted in building community through cinema, bringing people together to experience stories, share perspectives, and dream collectively.

Feedback is a short film that draws on Olukemi's research on the connection between music, moving image and memory for Black people on both sides of the Atlantic (from Lagos, to London, to the U.S. & Canada).

Following the screening, stay for a talkback discussion, where we’ll create space for deeper conversation, reflection, and engagement with the film and its themes.
