About this Event

Emerging researchers will share the story of their academic journeys over the last five years. Each presenter will reflect and report on the following:

· Their research accomplishments

· The achievements they are most proud of

· How they have matured and developed as a researcher

· The advice they would have for themselves if they had a time machine and could go back to 2021

· One thing they had wished they had done but did not do

By listening to and learning from these individual researcher journeys we hope to showcase the strength of local regional research networks and provide inspiration and further energy to future researchers.

Presentations will be followed by a research careers discussion panel and a free lunch.

Attendees: All welcome. This session should be of particular interest to PhD and Masters students, ECRs, MCRs, those supervising developing researchers and anyone with an interest in public and environmental health research.
