Get hands on experience by:planting your own seedlings, starting worm bins, reducing & creating nutrient-rich compost to support plant growth
learning the basics of soil preparation, watering, & plant care
learning how to select seeds/plants in your area
learning basic pest control and more
We will also go to the garden weather permitting. Please dress accordingly for the weather
Please bring your own tools, pencils/pens, paper, table, computer, etc, to participate in the workshop. Just know we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Meal & snacks are own your own. There is local place to purchase such items if need.
Space is limited Pre-registration is required.
Workshop fee: $25.00 per person, you must take all items home with you at the end of workshop.
