NFTE Capital Region is excited to kick off the holiday season with our friends--new and old--at HalfSmoke, founded by NFTE alum Andre McCain! Guests will mix and mingle while enjoying heavy passed hors d'oeuvres and will receive two drink tickets to use at the bar. Join our Regional Board, NFTE volunteers and supporters along with business and education leaders from across the region. We'll hear from NFTE alum about their business journeys and the pivotal role NFTE played in their lives. We look forward to an inspiring evening filled with great food, conversation, and purpose!

HalfSmoke

Our host for the event is NFTE alum and innovative restaurateur Andre McCain. Andre's vibrant restaurant, HalfSmoke, is devoted to modernizing D.C.’s signature “half-smoke” sausage, a local favorite dating back to the 1930s. HalfSmoke's menu also features house made tater tots, mac and cheese balls, funnel cakes, milkshakes, craft beer, wine and specialty cocktails via a full bar. HalfSmoke is a lively gathering spot with a welcoming vibe, making it the perfect place for both casual diners and special events like ours.
