NFPA Fire Instructor II

This is a hybrid NFPA Fire Instructor 2 course presented by DPSST. Once students have registered they will be sent a link to sign up or log in to Resource 1 and start all of their course work. Students will complete all modules with quizzes and tests. Prior to the in person portion of the course, students must have 70% or higher on all tests and complete all course work. The 2 day in person class will be full of activities and review of course materials. This course offers the knowledge to create and maintain instructor curriculum as well as course planning and execution. This class is best for people that are currently in an instructor role or will soon be in an instructor role. This course is a pre-requisite course to obtaining your Live Fire Instructor In Charge certification.

• Dress for the class is business casual or Class B uniform.

• Students will have a task book initiated but will not be completely signed off.

• Class will be held 8am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch both days.

• Students must be affiliated with an Oregon fire department.

• Students must be NFPA Instructor 1.
