NFMI will host our 1st Annual First Flight of the Year event. Jan 1st.
The first member to fly for 2 min in the air wins.
1. Must be airplane electric.
2. No lights mounted on the plane.
3. An observer can shine lights from the ground onto plane or runway.
Field will open at 5am.
Any time after that.
Sunrise is 6:45, Twilight about 6am.
There is also a First Crash award. Simple first one to crash, wins.
Crash must leave aircraft in more pieces than it took off with.
