NFKS was born on the dancefloors of Amsterdam during ADE 2023, where a shared love for techno (and maybe one too many afterparties) turned a chance meeting into a techno DJ duo.
NFKS, composed of Natasha Salehi (U.S.) and Florian Kappe (Germany), a dynamic techno duo currently based in Prague, have quickly become known for delivering relentless yet melodic sets that resonate on both peak-time dancefloors and intimate, underground settings.
Natasha’s career as a former radio host for Revolution 935 FM Miami, took off after being published in Billboard for an exclusive with Martin Garrix. She started a digital radio show after COVID, "On the Rail w/ Techno Tawsh," to educate people about the techno industry, its artists, and the vibrant culture surrounding it. This allowed her to interview international DJs such as UMEK, Joris Voorn, Space 92, Joyhauser, and Sam WOLFE, and cultivate an extensive network within the industry.
Florian, with his German background and upbringing in the techno epicenters of Frankfurt and Berlin, brings a disciplined and precise approach to his craft. As a businessman and former tennis player, he seamlessly integrates his structured mindset with a deep love for intense bass drops and driving rhythms. His sets, rich with Peak-Time Drive Techno, Melodic Techno, and Tech Trance, are known for their emotional depth and the ability to take listeners on a mesmerizing journey.
In just one year, Natasha and Florian have performed at some of Prague's most iconic venues including CrossClub, Jilska22, and Vzorkovna, as well as Aldea Club in Bratislava, earning them a residency at Le Clan after-hours hotspot. They marked their one-year anniversary by hosting their first event - BERLIN RAVE in Prague - alongside Teenage Mutants under their label TRAGEDIE at Altenburg 1964.
With influences rooted in the meticulously layered productions of Enrico Sangiuliano, the dark, high-octane intensity of Joyhauser, Space 92's driving grooves, and the polished yet underground sound of Teenage Mutants, NFKS carve their own niche in Prague's techno scene.
Their sound is a powerhouse of energy, characterized by roaring basslines, soaring synths, and hypnotic rhythms that seamlessly blend intensity with euphoria.
