LAB-A is bringing brass ensemble to the 21st century with the help of LA-based emerging composers! Next Up: New Music for Brass features ten new works for brass ensemble and brass chamber groups, broadening the brass ensemble repertoire with a uniquely Los Angeles flair.

Next Up will spotlight emerging composers as they build their musical careers, and foster artistic collaboration between composers and brass musicians.
