🎭 OPEN CALL AUDITIONS FOR NEXT TO NORMAL, THE MUSICAL🎭
Curtains & Cuisine at LionHeart Hall is holding auditions for our upcoming production of “Next to Normal,” the Pulitzer Prize-winning contemporary rock musical by Tom Kitt & Brian Yorkey.
Raw, riveting, and emotionally powerful, Next to Normal follows a suburban family navigating mental illness, grief, memory, and the search for stability. Featuring a soaring contemporary score and deeply human storytelling, this groundbreaking musical remains one of the most celebrated modern musicals of the 21st century.
📅 AUDITION DATES: May 26 & 27, 2026
⏰ TIME: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 LOCATION: Cache Theatre Academy Building (1950 N. Main St. North Logan, Utah)
🎥 VIDEO AUDITIONS
Online/video submissions are also welcome and must be submitted by 5 PM on May 27th.
WHAT TO PREPARE:
• 16–32 bars of a contemporary/modern musical theatre song (rock/contemporary preferred)
• Instrumental backing track OR sheet music for accompanist (provided)
✨ Paid actor positions available!
($400 stipend per actor)
Performances run July 31 – August 8 at LionHeart Hall as part of the Curtains & Cuisine dinner theatre season.
