Learn how to create a resilient garden that can thrive despite ever-changing weather conditions and lack of time. This session will cover plant selection, sustainable management methods, and working with nature instead of against it. Participants will receive an electronic chart of native trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, and vines with cultural information, size, edibility, wildlife and functional characteristics, and resources.

INSTRUCTOR: DEB KNAPKE is passionate about gardening, sustainable garden design and the natural world, and enjoys sharing knowledge through her writing, public speaking, and garden consulting. She has served on various local and national committees and boards that focus on education, the environment, and sustainability. A popular speaker on WOSU's "All Sides" program, she has packed an amazing variety of plants onto the 2/3-acre lot surrounding her home.
