Learn to sew a beautifully finished pair of trousers in this supportive three-week evening course - perfect for next-steps beginners who want to grow their dressmaking skills at a comfortable pace.
Across three 3.5-hour sessions, you'll create a pair of modern, wearable trousers using your choice of the True Bias Emerson or Megan Nielsen Flint trousers. These designs are ideal for building confidence: they’re stylish, approachable, and full of techniques that will help you take your sewing to the next level.
This course is designed for makers who are already familiar with the basics of a sewing machine but want more guidance and time than a fast-paced one-day class allows. Each week, you’ll work step-by-step with hands-on tutor support, learning how to cut your fabric accurately, construct a professional-looking trouser waistband, create clean seams and hems, and achieve a great fit. Along the way, you’ll pick up valuable dressmaking skills that you can use in future projects.
With expert guidance and plenty of time to practice each step, this class is perfect for dressmakers who know the basics and want to expand their skills with a beautifully finished handmade garment.
