NORTH AMERICAN PREMIERES • 2026 MISE-EN-SCÈNE AWARD WINNERS


A screening of four award-winning shorts from the 2026 Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival, making their North American premieres as part of the Next Scene section at the inaugural LA Korean Film Festival.


The screening is followed by a Q&A with filmmakers Wi Eun-kyoung and Son Gwang-min.

GUEST BIOS

WI EUN-KYOUNG studied acting at Seoul Institute of the Arts. After contributing as a writer and crew member to the short film After the Waves, she made her directing debut with My Aunt and also appears in the film.


SON GWANG-MIN studies theater at Dongguk University and has directed short films since 2018. His acting work includes The Poem of Songju, which screened at the Jeonju International Film Festival.
