Do you get some or all of your news online? Are you curious about how to navigate news and information in an age of digital misinformation?
Abridged by PBS KVIE is launching its new iteration of News & Brews, a community news and gathering series, with a media literacy workshop pegged as the inaugural event. Please join us on Thursday, July 9, for an evening of conversation around deciphering AI-generated media and interpreting media messages.
Featured guests will include:
- Amari Pollard – Assistant Professor of Journalism at Sacramento State University
- Michele S. Foss-Snowden, Ph.D. – Executive Director for Presidential Communications and Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Sacramento State University
