Rev Dr Ken Newell and Fr Gerry Reynolds brought their faith communities of Fitzroy Presbyterian Church and Clonard Monastery together in a Fellowship at the height of the Troubles, a pioneering example of ecumenism and peace building. In 1999 the Clonard/Fitzroy Fellowship were awarded the prestigious international Pax Christi Peace Prize.
Austen Ivereigh is be best known for commentating for the BBC on Pope Francis funeral. He was a biographer of Pope Francis and also co-authored Let Us Dream with Pope Francis.
