Living as we do in the shadow of disaster, in troubled times, surely it would be wise to appease the gods as best we may! And how better that with a great demonstration of skill, much merriment and many libations in their honour? Though Olympus be many miles away, yet we may bring the Games to life!
Join us for an afternoon of thrilling contests including javelin, discus, wrestling and chariot racing. Model your finest toga or chiton. Paint your very own Greek vase and enjoy good company while ensuring the favour of the gods for another year! Then, as the day draws to a close, move indoors to a conveniently located taberna to celebrate your victories or mourn your losses in style. Games, entertainment and a delicious Mediterranean meal guaranteed.
