Newcastle's Climate Change Forum - Health Equity
About this Event
Welcome to Newcastle's sixth Climate Change Forum hosted by Newcastle City Council focused on health equity and climate change.
This is an opportunity to hear from you and also discuss Newcastle's journey in tackling climate change through collectively working together towards a greener city.
This forum is focused on bringing people together to explore the links between climate change and health inequalities in Newcastle, and create space for shared discussion, learning and collaboration. This supports Newcastle’s wider Marmot (health equity) approach and partnership work to reduce inequalities across the city.
During the event there will be the opportunity to view an exhibition from the Director of Public Health report which presents key themes and case studies aimed at increasing awareness of public health and food security.
Discussions at the forum will help feed into the development of future plans in our city. Your voice matters!
The forum will be hosted on the 30th of June at the Banqueting Hall, Civic Centre, 5pm-7:30pm (starting at 5:30pm).
There are a limited number of tickets available so if you are interested be quick!
Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of the solution. See you there!
