NEWCASTLE PRIDE FESTIVAL 24Fair Day is the main event of our festival, a day that celebrates our community, diversity, equality, and authenticity. This is a free family friendly event open to all and has become the most anticipated and celebrated LGBTQIA+ rainbow event in Newcastle and the Hunter. Join us for our 5th Fair day, attendance numbers demonstrate Fair days popularity.
The day includes main stage, a new dedicated DJ dance space, Storytime with Wonder Mama, Glamorous Drag shows, non-stop performance art, live music, Doggywood Parade, children’s and youth space, join the tug of love or handbag toss.
Peruse the food stalls & vans, mixed retail stalls, LGBTIQA+ community Stalls, The Red Torquettes motorcycles and much more. Just be comfortable in this safe and inclusive space. Bring shade, water, a rug or your sequinned banana chair, settle in and get ready for a wave of camp entertainment and rainbow coloured fun.
Fair day is a day of fabulousness and glamour and inclusivity, Newcastle Fair Day is a destination not to be missed.

About the host: Newcastle Pride Inc is an inclusive, vibrant, fun Newcastle based incorporated association, an LGBTIQA+ community-based charity organisation established in March 2018. Newcastle Pride celebrates sexuality and gender diversity in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Region within and outside our community. We work collaboratively to foster LGBTIQA+ Pride. We are fully inclusive.
Our vision is to empower the current and future generations to be their true selves and feel accepted, find their voice and be proud of who they are, regardless of their gender identity or sexuality. We aspire to a safer, more inclusive future for our community.
