We’re thrilled to introduce our brand-new clay-focused Spring Break camp for youth! Get ready for an exciting 4-day adventure in the wonderful world of pottery — where creativity and clay come together!
Designed especially for ages 12 to 17, this camp blends the magic of the pottery wheel with hands-on hand-building techniques to help youth create unique, personalized pottery pieces they’ll be proud of (and get to keep forever!). 🏺✨
Camp Schedule:
📅 Dates: Monday, March 16 – Thursday, March 19
🕜 Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM daily
📍 Location: Kamloops Art Party
👤 Ages: 12 – 17
💲 Cost: $349.00 + GST per youth
Workshop Highlights:
✨ Wheel-Throwing Pottery Lessons: Learn the fundamentals of the pottery wheel — centering, shaping, and creating beautiful ceramic forms with professional guidance.
✨ Hand-Sculpting Workshops: Explore fun and creative sculpting techniques including slab, pinch, and coil building to bring your clay ideas to life.
✨ Create & Keep: Each participant will complete multiple clay pieces throughout the camp, all fired and glazed to perfection — ready to take home and proudly display!
Please note: Pieces may take 3–4 weeks to fully dry and complete the first kiln firing. Once fired, you will be contacted for your youth to come back in and glaze their pieces before the second firing (which is included in your ticket price).
✨ All Materials Included: Clay, tools, glazing, kiln firings, and expert instruction are all included — just bring your imagination (and clothes you don’t mind getting messy!).
✨ Small Class Sizes for Personalized Learning: Class sizes are intentionally limited so each youth receives hands-on guidance and individualized support throughout the week.
Camp Policies:
⏰ Drop-Off Policy: Youth may be dropped off no earlier than 1:20 PM.
🧹 Pick-Up Policy: Youth must be picked up no later than 4:40 PM.
Extended Pick-Up Option: Additional pick-up time may be arranged in advance for an additional fee (starting at $15 + GST per 30 minutes). Extended pick-up must be confirmed prior to the first camp day.
🥤 Arrival: Please arrive on time and send your youth with a water bottle and snack

👚 Dress Code: Dress for mess! Aprons are provided, but some materials may stain clothing.
❌ Refund Policy: No refunds. Credits may be issued if cancellation is received at least 14 days in advance. Credits must be used within 4 weeks of cancellation.
📞 Emergency Contact / Behavior Policy: If behavior becomes an issue, parents/guardians will be contacted for immediate pickup. No refunds or credits will be issued in these cases.
