Join us upstairs at the iconic Russian Samovar for an unforgettable evening where wine meets hip hop at the Terroir Tapes Listening Session. Jermaine Stone is the Emmy-nominated host of Street Somm, host of the Wine and Hip Hop Show, one of Wine Enthusiast's 40 Under 40 Tastemakers, and known to the wine world as the “Wolf of Wine.” Jermaine joins NYWC to guide you through a unique tasting experience to discover the parallels between wine regions and hip-hop culture. Join us for a fun evening uncovering the shared language of terroir—both in the vineyard and on the streets.

This immersive session will feature:

• A tasting of several exceptional wines, with a breakdown of their terroir and how it shapes their flavors.
• An exploration of the elements that define the unique cultural identity of hip-hop regions, from beats to vernacular.
• A pairing of wines with hip-hop regions, blending two worlds through storytelling, music, and taste.

Hailing from the Bronx, Jermaine Stone is the President and CEO of Cru Luv Selections and a pioneer in merging wine and hip-hop cultures. Once a rising rapper who appeared on platforms like BET and Hot 97, Jermaine transitioned into the wine world, carving out a career in high-end wine auctions and consulting.
