The National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals (NSBWEP) wants you to join us at RGNY Winery for “Journey to Full-Time Entrepreneurship” an exclusive but inclusive gathering for wedding and event professionals.
Embarking on the path to full-time entrepreneurship is a significant and often daunting decision, especially for wedding and event professionals who are currently balancing full-time jobs with their own businesses. This presentation will explore the challenges and rewards of making the transition from a W2 employee to a full-time business owner. Our speakers will delve into practical strategies, personal anecdotes, and actionable insights to help you confidently take the leap. Whether you’re driven by the desire for creative freedom, financial independence, or the fulfillment of building your own legacy, this session will equip you with the knowledge and inspiration to turn your entrepreneurial dreams into reality.
This event will also include a wine tasting experience that will begin promptly at 4:00 pm followed by the presentation discussion from ELASEA DOUGLAS & SADIKI PIERRE of Acute Inflections. And a special performance by Acute Inflections.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:
Acute Inflections is a stylish jazz duo from New York City, consisting of vocalist Elasea Douglas and upright bassist Sadiki Pierre. Their unique sound blends jazz, R&B, and pop, creating captivating and elegant performances. Elasea, a former Broadway singer, and Sadiki, who returned to music after a career in aviation and finance, met by chance and discovered their musical chemistry during an impromptu performance.
They are known for their jazzy renditions of popular songs across various genres, including rock, reggae, and Top 40 hits. Acute Inflections has performed at high-end events for clients like the United Nations and Mercedes-Benz, and their music has been featured on HBO and Discovery.
