Celebrate the arrival of 2027 with a free evening of family entertainment, live music and the return of fireworks to Dunedin's city centre. Starting from 5pm, families can enjoy the Kids Fun Zone and entertainment from Rainbow Rosalind before the evening shifts into a packed schedule of live music.
The main stage programme begins at 8pm with local youth band The Strange DeVine, followed by the Kids' Countdown at 8.30pm. At 8.45pm, Dunedin favourites Bo and the Constrictors bring the party atmosphere, before headline acts Rock Divas and Rock Tenors take the stage from 10pm with a high-energy concert of rock anthems and big vocals.
Hosted by Doug Kamo, the celebrations culminate with the countdown to 2027 and a spectacular midnight fireworks display above the Octagon.
