Welcome to the New Year's Healthy Hands Challenge!
This Challenege runs for 30 days: Monday, January 13th - Friday, February 13th, 2024
Your hands work hard for you every day, but are often left uncared for until the signs of repetitive stress and tissue dehydration show up as chronic pain, carpal tunnel, arthritis, tennis elbow, or worse. Caring for the fascia in your fingers, hands, wrists and forearms with cutting-edge MELT (myofascial energetic length technique) Method hand treatments can help prevent, reduce or even reverse these conditions.
Whether you spend hours on your computer and phone every day (who doesn't?), drive long distances, do manual labor, play swing sports, and/or are a professional musician, seamstress, visual artist, or other human who uses their hands to engage in repetitive motions, you need this class!

About the MELT method:
MELT is a hands off bodywork that eliminates chronic pain by rehydrating the connective tissue, our fascia. Simple techniques are taught using a small ball and a soft roller that help with arthritis, inflammation, injuries, as well enhancing your grip strength and mobility, recovery from being active and preparing before doing movement and even helps with sleep.
What to expect:
- 3 live 30 min classes per week on Mon/Wed/Fri ~ classes are held at different times to accommodate varying schedules
- Class recordings for you to watch at your convenience
- Support between classes to develop the new habit of supporting your hands daily

Meet the Facilitators: Ellen + Allison:
Ellen Katharine is a certified Melt Method Level I instructor, certified Energy Codes facilitator, and certified Amba Movement facilitator. She enjoys helping people come back to the lives they love through offering easily-accessible daily practices that help them find a “way in” to their bodies that is do-able, affordable, and easy to integrate into daily life.
Allison Fall, Studio 355 owner where she teaches Pilates + MELT teacher, discovered Pilates while recovering from several injuries and gained a unique understanding of how healing bodies can benefit from a holistic approach. She loves working with all types of body challenges and specializes in post-rehab, pre and post natal, as well as many chronic illnesses. Allison adheres to the philosophy - “The most important thing to remember is to have fun and move”.
