We usually do this every year with friends; several of you have asked about group hiking, I'd love to open it up and meet some new folks from this group! I'll hang out at the trailhead and will try to have a sign. We'll leave out as a group and have a great 4.5 mile hike around the Gateway Loop. This is an accessible trail that is rated as Moderate and has great views of the valley and the Sonoran McDowell Preserve.
There is rain in the forecast, so we'll watch weather accordingly and make a game time decision. This trailhead has LOTS of parking but is popular.
