All guests may move between the main deck, mid deck and open-air sky deck throughout the evening, within allowable capacity limits and crew directions.

Seating is available throughout the vessel; however, it is unreserved and cannot be allocated or guaranteed.

Boarding Information

Indicative departure: Approximately 7:30 pm
Indicative return: Approximately 1:00 am

The final boarding time and allocated wharf number will be confirmed closer to the event and sent to the email address entered during booking.

Guests must arrive at the confirmed check-in area at least 45 minutes before departure.

Sydney is extremely busy on New Year’s Eve. Allow substantial additional time for road closures, parking, traffic and public transport delays.

The vessel cannot wait for late passengers. Late arrival or missing the vessel does not provide grounds for a refund, credit or transfer.

The vessel may not be visible or permanently berthed before boarding. Guests must report directly to the confirmed check-in area and must not wait to see the vessel before approaching.

All times and wharf allocations remain subject to government, maritime authority, harbour control and vessel captain directions.

Dress Code

Smart casual attire

Tall, narrow or pointed heels are not permitted due to the vessel’s stairways and external decks.

Small, stable chunky heels may be worn, although flat or secure footwear is strongly recommended.

Accessibility

MV Calmer is not a fully accessible venue due to the wharf, movable boarding gangway, vessel entrances and internal stairways.

The vessel cannot accommodate wheelchairs.

Children and Families

Children under 18 must remain under the care and active supervision of a parent or responsible adult at all times.

Children must not roam the vessel unsupervised, including on stairways, balconies, boarding areas and external decks.

Prams are not permitted onboard due to space limitations and safety requirements.

Weather and Fireworks

The cruise operates in most weather conditions, including rain. MV Calmer has substantial covered areas across the main and mid decks.

Fireworks displays, harbour access, vessel routes and viewing positions are controlled by government and Sydney Harbour event authorities.

Group Bookings

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that every guest attending under their booking receives and understands all event information, boarding instructions, entry requirements, policies and terms before the event.

Failure by an attendee to receive, read or understand the information provided does not constitute grounds for a refund, credit or transfer.

Tickets are non-refundable.

Refunds, credits or transfers will not be provided for change of mind, illness, late arrival, transport delays, missing the vessel, accessibility or dietary unsuitability, seating preferences, prohibited bags or footwear, weather conditions, authority-directed changes or refusal of entry for non-compliance.

• Licensed venue. Events operate under strict licensing and RSA regulations.
• Valid photo ID Required
• Children under 18 must remain under the care and active supervision of a parent or responsible adult at all times while onboard. For safety reasons, children must not be permitted to roam the vessel unsupervised, including stairways, balconies, boarding areas, and external deck spaces. Guests are asked to carefully supervise young children throughout the duration of the cruise.
• Drinks are available for purchase that are not included in a stated beverage package
• Food may be available under a stated package or for purchase - Any menu provided is indicative only and subject to change without notice.
• Allergen Notice: Our onboard kitchen operates in a shared environment and cannot be considered allergen-free. While care is taken in preparation, we are unable to guarantee the complete absence of allergens, including, but not limited, to gluten,dairy, nuts and seafood, due to the risk of cross-contamination.
• For guests with significant intolerance, severe allergies or specific dietary requirements, we recommend carefully considering whether the available options and onboard kitchen environment are suitable for your individual needs before booking. Dietary or allergen-related unsuitability does not constitute grounds for a refund.
• Cash and card accepted for onboard beverage purchases.
• Strictly NO BYO food or beverages
• Heels Policy – The MV Calmer has steep stairs, so tall or pointy heels are not permitted. Small chunky heels are fine!
• Limited Seating Notice: This is a cocktail, event viewing, style cruise and is not a table-service or seated-viewing event. The vessel layout is determined by All Event Cruises with event flow, passenger movement, dance floor space and onboard safety in mind. Limited unreserved seating is available throughout the vessel, however seating cannot be reserved or guaranteed. Guests must not bring their own chairs, stools or other seating onto the vessel. Bringing personal seating may create safety or access issues and may result in refusal of entry. Guests are encouraged to view prior event photo albums on our social media pages before booking to get a clear understanding of the event style, vessel setup and atmosphere. Suitability of the event is at the patron’s discretion prior to purchase. Unsuitability based on seating preferences, event format or personal requirements does not constitute grounds for a refund.

• Accessibility: Please note that MV Calmer is not a fully accessible venue due to wharf, gangway and vessel design. The vessel cannot accommodate wheelchairs. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser and attendees to assess whether the vessel and event are suitable for their individual accessibility, mobility or personal needs before purchasing tickets. Guests should contact us before booking to discuss suitability. Lack of suitability based on accessibility or personal requirements does not constitute grounds for a refund
• Bag Policy: For safety and security reasons bags larger than a purse or clutch size are not permitted onboard. All bags will be searched prior to boarding. Guest that arrive with larger bags such as backpacks, totes and other items may be refused admission without refund.
• No Prams permitted - due to taking up room and being a trip hazard.
• No mid-cruise drop-offs or pickups.
• Total cruise duration may be inclusive of embarkation/disembarkation. All indicated times may be adjusted at the descretion of AEC management, and,or vessel Captain.
• Do not leave bags or other personal items unattended while on-board the vessel. All Event Cruises Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any lost, damaged or stolen personal items.
• No need to stress about the weather! Rain doesn't stop the boat from cruising, and there is plenty inside space on the main and mid decks for an epic time! so you don't have to worry about what the weather is doing.
• CCTV & Security Notice: For the safety, security, and enjoyment of all guests, crew, and staff, MV Calmer is monitored by CCTV surveillance. By purchasing a ticket and boarding the vessel, guests acknowledge and consent to CCTV recording and security procedures.
• Professional photography and video may be captured - By purchasing a ticket and boarding the vessel, you acknowledge that photography and videography may occur during the event. You consent to All Event Cruises Pty Ltd using any images or footage of you for marketing, promotional, and operational purposes, without compensation.
• Event Conditions: All Event Cruises reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests who do not comply with venue policies, safety requirements, or responsible service of alcohol regulations, and all applicable legislation.
• Deck Capacity and Access: For passenger safety and compliance with vessel capacity requirements, the open-air sky deck is limited to a maximum of 90 passengers at any one time. Onboard security will actively monitor and maintain this capacity limit throughout the cruise. Once the sky deck reaches its maximum capacity, access will be temporarily restricted. Guests will then be permitted to move onto the sky deck on a one-person-up, one-person-down basis as space becomes available. Access to the sky deck is shared among all guests and cannot be reserved or guaranteed at any particular time, including during the fireworks displays. Guests must follow all directions provided by crew and security personnel.
• Food and beverage service will not be provided on the sky deck. Food stations, bars and beverage service will operate on the vessel’s main and mid decks.
• Guests must not congregate on stair ways, or block the free flow of movement up and down.

• All event information, terms and conditions are made available on the ticketing page at the time of purchase. A guest’s failure to read, receive or understand this information does not provide grounds for a refund, credit, transfer or other compensation.
• Group Bookings and Purchaser Responsibility: Where one person purchases tickets on behalf of multiple attendees or a group, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring that every person attending under that booking is provided with, and is fully aware of, all relevant event information, entry requirements, policies, terms and conditions before the event date.
• All Sales Final: Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
• Departure Policy: Vessel always aims to depart at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not be refunded.
