Start the new year out on a bike ride!We will gather at Mt Cheaha's clubhouse at 9:30 PM on New Year's Eve. KSU 10:30 PM. We will ride to Tallasaposa, GA, and celebrate the new year in the Eastern Time Zone. Then we will return to the Mt Cheaha clubhouse in Anniston, AL, and welcome the new year again in the Central Time Zone. The total ride length is 77 miles. The clubhouse will remain open during the ride for anyone wanting to hang out there.
If you plan on staying overnight, Hotel Finial is the only hotel in downtown Anniston. About six miles away, in Oxford, AL, there are several chain hotels available along I-20.
