Join us on December 31 in Tracy Hall for our traditional New Years Eve Ball. What makes it a ball? We get a little fancy with decorations, special snacks at the break, and singing in the new year together. Festive attire welcome but not required.Wednesday, December 31

Join us for our traditional contra dance and New Year's celebration at Tracy Hall in Norwich. All dances are taught, and beginners and singles are always welcome. We offer pot-luck snacks at the break, so please feel free to bring something to share. Our caller will offer a introductory / refresher session at 7:45 pm for newcomers or those who want to review the basics. Please bring clean non-marking shoes to help protect our dance floor! Please stay home if you are sick; masks optional, and welcome.
Raven & Goose is Corwin Zekley and Grace Fellows.
Virtuoso violinist, Corwin Zekley was born with a fiddle in their hands and plays with an intensity yet delicacy that pulls on the heartstrings of all who hear them. Corwin has eclectic musical roots, and enchants audiences playing anything from Celtic to Jazz to Country to Metal. Corwin studied at the Berklee College of Music, has played thousands of concerts, appeared on dozens of records, and has published books and albums of their own compositions.
Grace Fellows grew up playing traditional musics on fiddle, and she synthesized her broad musical influences while studying at Calarts, and doing her masters at BIMM London. She became an accomplished pianist while performing as a singer/songwriter, and in the last years has become a powerhouse contra-pianist whose potent sense of rhythm will propel you around the dance floor.
Annie Kidwell (they/them) is a dancer, contra caller, and choreographer based in Massachusetts. Originally from Louisville, KY, they have traveled from here to there finding their way through west coast swing, blues, contact improv, fusion, and of course, contra dancing. They are well known for their engaging instruction and abilities to create a joyful space for both new and experienced dancers.
