New Year's Eve Comedy at Mount Pleasant GC: Steve Bjork, Paul Nardizzi

Say goodbye to 2025 with great comedy at Mount Pleasant Golf Club in Lowell, Mass. Doors open at 6:30 for 7:30 showtime.

Wilmington native Steve Bjork returns to the area for a double-headliner bill with Paul Nardizzi (Conan, Comedy Central, SiriusXM). Jack Lombardo hosts.

Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door. (Cash only). There will be light snacks and a cash bar.

The show is presented by Scamps Comedy Productions.

The material is suitable for 21-plus.

"Comedy is a popular entertainment choice for New Year's Eve, and this is a great show," Scamps Comedy boss Dave Rattigan says. "We've done other shows there, and Mount Pleasant sets up really nicely for comedy. The comics are 'nightclub clean' -- not too tame, and not too spicy -- and hyserically funny."

One of the best observational humorists in Boston, Stephen Bjork is known for his clean and funny style that makes him a favorite in theaters, corporate shows, and fundraisers. At one time, he worked cross-country as a headliner, performing at clubs such as The Improv in Las Vegas, Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Hilarities in Orlando, Florida, Crackers in Indianapolis, Indiana, and several more. He's shared the stage with acts including Dane Cook, Steven Wright, Dom Irrerra, Dave Chappelle, Gilbert Gottfried, Joe Rogan, Dana Gould and Tommy Chong. He also once opened for the legendary musical group The Platters.

Paul Nardizzi is one of the country's top comedians, with multiple standup appearances on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central, and Fox Sports' Best Damn Sports Show Period, as well as regional appearances on NESN. A former winner of the Boston Comedy Festival, Nardizzi is in demand for theater shows, corporate functions, colleges, golf tournament, and fundraisers. He’s the creator and star of the Ranting Parents Comedy Tour, which has played in theaters around New England. His CD has been played on Sirius Satellite Radio and he’s a prolific author of humor books, including the hilarious Things That Might Annoy ... series, which pokes fun at Yankee fans, Jets fans, Republicans, and Democrats. He also wrote the hilarious 602 Reasons to be Ticked Off and The Sarcastic Sports Trivia Book.

Affable, animated host Jack Lombardo wins audiences over with his friendly, exuberant stage presence and funny observational style. Jack started in the Midwest and has carried it over to the Boston scene. Among the headliners he’s shared the stage with are Juston McKinney, Mike McDonald, Dave Rattigan and Steve Donovan.
