New Year's Eve Celebration with Tomar & the FCs @11:30pm, Cazayoux @9:30pm

Tomar Williams got his start singing lead on the Chitlin Circuit with his family band in the late 1980s. In 2015, after several decades as a music producer and side-man, Tomar decided to return to his roots as a frontman. He was introduced to a local instrumental band, the FCs, and Tomar and the FCs was born.

Over the last decade, the band has earned a reputation as one of Austin’s best live bands with regular performances at iconic venues like the Continental Club, C-Boys, and Antone’s and multiple Austin Music Awards. They have toured all over the country and have performed at ACL Music Festival, Old Settlers Music Festival, River Revival, SXSW, and Bonnaroo.

Tomar and the FCs have four recordings, the EP Day by Day, and albums Heart Attack, Rise Above, and their latest, Soul Searching, which was released on Tenwick Records in February of 2025.

CAZAYOUX is a genre-blurring collective rooted in rhythm, cultural fusion, and dance floor fire. Based in Austin, Texas, the group blends swamp funk, Afrobeat, and modern jazz into a sound that’s unmistakably their own—deeply percussive, globally inspired, and unapologetically groove-driven.

​Formed in 2022, CAZAYOUX quickly made waves in Austin’s underground scene with their electrifying, improvisation-heavy live shows. A multicultural lineup of musicians brings a wide spectrum of influences to the table.
